Exciting community events have been a long time coming through isolation, but now the wonderful Bastille Markets are being held just around the corner!
If you’re a Francophile, a foodie, a market-lover, or just want to get out and peruse some beautiful Parisienne produce, the Bastille Markets are scheduled for September in Willoughby.
The popular market will feature over 50 pop-up shops, with French cuisine and unique artisans. There will also be live music and activities for children too.
This year, patrons can also enjoy a glass of French wine or Champagne while strolling around the stalls! “We are excited to launch a Wine bar at the market! Champagne, French wine and French cider!” says Solveig, the Market Curator.
The French food stalls are always very popular as well. And mid-winter, everyone will be lining up for Raclettes! “’It’s perfect weather to indulge in raclette cheese melted on potatoes, charcuterie and cornichons!” says Solveig.
