Big Music Holiday Rock Camp, Crows Nest

If your child has ever dreamed of being in a rock band, or just really likes music – Big Music in Crows Nest is the place to be these school holidays! Big Music has been running their Holiday Rock Camp program with great success, and all the staff are qualified musicians who are passionate about encouraging a love of music in their students. There’s no musical experience necessary, with a course to suit kids of all ages and any skill level! The emphasis of the camp programs is simply on fun and participation in learning to play popular music with other kids!

Good to Know: These popular Holiday Camps cater for all kids aged 5+ regardless of their prior musical experience. Each day runs from 9am to 3pm, with an online performance for family and friends on the last day. Places are extremely limited and often sell out, so ROCK ENROL NOW!

Gallery 307 Art School Holiday Program, Northbridge

Gallery 307 Art School in Northbridge has fun and creative classes for the kids these school holidays. Suitable for all ages, students are taught real art skills in a fun way, with freedom to explore their creativity and COVID19 safe procedures in place. Some of the classes these school holidays are :-

Resilience in Kids, North Sydney, Cammeray, Roseville and online

There’s no greater skill needed now than resilience! The camps are for everyday K-6 children experiencing everyday challenges. There’ll be a mix of 1-day face-to-face camps and 2-hour online camps run via Zoom. The camps are fun, creative and play-based, and include drama, art, craft, storytelling and LOTS of games. Kids LOVE them!
Good to Know: The camps explore a range of topics, including building confidence, managing emotions, handling fear, worry and anxiety, feeling OK making mistakes, keeping going when things are tough, empathy, managing conflict in friendships, understanding what makes us unique and LOTS more, all in a safe and supportive environment. Debating and Public Speaking with Speaking Schools Australasia

Looking for an engaging and educational program with the option of choosing either an online or face-to-face experience these school holidays? Speaking Schools Australasia will be running fun LIVE online and a limited number of face-to face programs to help students build their confidence in Debating and Public speaking over the winter break.

Kids Circle: Baking and Visual Arts Classes, Lindfield

Kids Circle offers a completely new experience each day to help unleash kids’ creativity whilst making friends during the school holidays! This Winter / July School Holiday Program Kids Circle will offer the following fun and educational workshops:

  • Master Chef sessions with a Le Cordon Bleu Certified Chef: Animal themed cupcakes and Sushi and Rice Paper Rolls.
  • Visual Arts: Decorate your own Wooden Frame and Whirly Spinners, Paint Magical Beasts (Unicorns or Dragons) on canvas, create a Mixed Media Artist Book, learn and have fun exploring Abstract Expressionism with Oil Pastels and enjoy a Puppetry workshop.

Luna Park Re-Opens!

Sydney’s iconic home of fun, Luna Park, will re-open its smile from Friday 3 July, 2020 for the first time in 15 weeks after it ceased operations temporarily in line with the Federal and State Governments response to COVID-19.

Luna Park tickets will be available to purchase at LunaParkSydney.com for a flat rate of $50 per guest. Enjoy rides on the Ferris Wheel, Dodgem Cars and Volare as tickets will allow guests access to Unlimited Rides for a specific date and time, include a $10 food and beverage voucher plus 1 side show game*.

Every guest must have a ticket to enter Luna Park during this period. In accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Guests will be able to enjoy a four-hour session in the Park with capacity limits for each session. Opening on the first day of the NSW school holidays, there will
be two sessions per day, from 10:00am – 2:00pm and 3:00pm – 7:00pm.

Fun Activities with PCYC, North Sydney

With more than 60 clubs and centres across NSW and around 85,000 members, Police Citizens Youth Clubs NSW is one of Australia’s leading youth organisations. We are Australia’s pre-eminent youth organisation working with Police and Community to empower young people to reach their potential. We get young people active in life.
