Northside Produce Market
One of the best local markets in Sydney! Northside Produce Market is on every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month right here in North Sydney. It’s a true local gem with fresh farm produce, gourmet delights, food and coffee and family entertainment. Pop it in the calendar and support this wonderful market on our doorstep. It always promises a delicious Saturday morning out!

Kirribilli General Market
One of Sydney’s oldest and most popular markets, it’s been drawing crowds for over 45 years now. Located in a tunnel under the Harbour Bridge and an old bowling green, it’s also one of the most unique locations for a market too. Bargain hunters love rummaging through the recycled fashion and accessories, but you’ll also find unique gifts, seasonal flowers, jewellery, artwork, gourmet food and lots more. Funds raised by the Kirribilli Markets go towards supporting the community’s wonderful Kirribilli Centre.

Kirribilli Market Art, Fashion and Design
The other Kirribilli market by the Bridge, this one focuses on the area’s thriving art, fashion and design scene. These markets are a goldmine for vintage clothing, bespoke designs, antiques, photography and what we’d call tasteful Sydney souvenirs! After you’ve browsed, fill up your bellies at Eat Street on Burton Street; and Gourmet Corner on the gravel area of the market. There is also live entertainment all day long in Burton Street.

Middle Head Market Mosman
The Middle Head Market operates every Wednesday from 8am until 2pm. Visitors can enjoy a pleasant country style market atmosphere and breathtaking views of the harbour.
Stephen Choularton, Director of organicfoodmarkets.com.au, said Middle Head provides a picturesque location.
“Organic Food Markets prides itself on providing both certified organic and conventional fruit and vegetable and artisan products to the community. Middle Head, with its lush bushland and strong community ties, is an ideal place to showcase our offering,” says Stephen.
It’s really one of the must-visit local markets, with stalls featuring a combination of organic and conventional produce. There is also musicians, pony rides and jumping castles – sure to keep the kids happy. There’s ample parking and grass areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

Le Marche Market Willoughby
A Franco-Australian market, you’ll find the best of both worlds in one friendly market. Say Viva La France to gourmet cheeses, crepes, French style charcuterie, eclairs, Champagne, breads and pastries, plus freshly harvested black truffles. And marry that with fresh local produce – fruit, vegetables, organic milk, local honey, meats and more. If you can only do one French market, make it the Bastille Day celebrations, mid-July, held at Club Willoughby.

Mosman Market
An Artisans Market touting local arts and craft, gourmet foods, succulents, and live musical entertainment. You can pick up a unique handmade gift or Fair Trade item, browse through over 130 eclectic stalls and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Make sure you check out the Zero Emissions Sydney North stall, pick yourself up an e-bike or charge your electric car here! In July they hold a WinterFeast Night Market, one to rug up for and enjoy the warm atmosphere and mulled wine.

That Great Market Lindfield
Find out why it’s so great on the third Sunday of every month. The all-weather market is home to local designers, producers and makers, and encourages shoppers to be more sustainable and environmental. Marvel at the local beekeepers, woodturners, knife sharpeners, and weavers and make sure you try one of the famous Croque Monsieurs from the French Counter.

Chatswood Mall Market
Sydney’s most prolific market, held twice a week, every week. You’ll find authentic Japanese, Malaysian, Taiwanese, Filipino, Spanish, Greek, and Italian street food, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oh and if you’ve got enough room for dessert there’s the famous Portuguese tarts and Sydney’s newest food craze – jiggle pudding! There’s also fashion, flowers and more to discover.

Lane Cove Maker’s Market
Peruse products made by the artists and designers themselves at Lane Cove’s local markets. Artisans Market, The Coal Loader Waverton
It only comes around four times a year so mark your calendars. Find sustainable, handmade products direct from emerging and contemporary designers, artists and makers – think ceramics, sculptures, fashion, wool creations, soaps, textiles, baskets and more. Located at one of Sydney’s most beautiful and historic sites, the all-weather market makes for a fabulous day out. The venue is single-use plastic-free so bring your reusable coffee cups and cloth bags.
