The Spring School Holidays are always an exciting time of year. We’ve made it out of Winter and are on the countdown to Summer and the end of the year! Adventure Camp

At Adventure Camp, we are all about getting kids outdoors and our 3-day school holiday camps will be packed full of Adventure to get your kids outside and away from screens this Spring.  

If you believe the outdoors are important and are after something fun and action packed for your kids these school Holidays, Adventure Camp is just for you. We provide an active, fun outdoor experience in an environment that helps to fulfil your kid’s basic needs for freedom, experimentation, risk-taking, socialising and, of course, adventure. Brightsparks Performing Academy

Our School Holiday Workshops, located in the uber cool and highly professional studios of Citadel Creative in Crows Nest, are an amazing opportunity, geared towards students who would like to dip their toe into the world of performing arts. Led by leading industry professionals in drama and singing, our courses are not one to miss. Balmoral Watersports School Holiday Activities

‚ÄúHave Fun ‚Äď Be Safe ‚Äď Learn New Skills ‚Äď Make New Friends‚ÄĚ these spring school holidays!

Our ‚ÄúMulti-activity‚ÄĚ water-sports camp offers different activities throughout the day, including Sailing, Windsurfing, Stand up Paddleboarding, Kayaking and games on/off water, with a major emphasis on having fun, and gaining & improving water-sports skills!

Every day is a different day with changing weather conditions, new games and new challenges. We welcome kids with water-sports skills & abilities as well as total beginners. Our aim is to introduce kids to water sports, gain more confidence on the water, and learn sailing in a fun way. We also really encourage making new friends.

Kids can start from 7 yrs old to 15 years old, they must already be able to swim 25m confidently. We have 3 different age groups: 7 to 9yo; 10 to 12yo; and 13 to 15yo. We will also make sure they are put together with friends on the 1st day if required. Be prepared for a fabulous week of fun and learning. It’s exactly where your kids want to be, rain or shine!

Good to know: Children are to bring their own packed lunch. The program will continue in wet weather conditions. Please ensure you or your child are aware of the weather forecast for the day and have packed accordingly.

Flying Yogis 2 Day Yoga/ Acrobatics & Art Camp

Flying Yogis are coming to the North Shore with an exciting 2 Day Acrobatics & Art Holiday Program these Spring school holidays.

Held at the beautifully peaceful Warner’s Park Reserve, Northbridge, the children will enjoy: Daily¬†Yoga¬†Session; Acrobatics Workshops and “Art in Nature” program.

Sydney Fringe Festival

As always, Sydney Fringe has your September school holiday plans sorted with Fringe Kids.

The Sydney Fringe team have devised a jam-packed week for big kids and little kids alike. Expect a loaded day of theatre, book boogies, poetry in action, interactive photo-booths, roving entertainment, silent discos, and retail scavenger hunts. From parkour workshops, learning to juggle, and swinging your hips with Hoola Hoops, and Silent Disco boogies. We will also have a 360-booth installed for everyone to participate and get a unique memory to take home from the family fun day.

We hope to see more families come along and enjoy all that Sydney Fringe has to offer!

Alice in Wonderland, Royal Botanic Garden

Hyperkarting, Entertainment Quarter

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines and get set for a day at Australia’s longest indoor go-karting track (410m to be exact). You don’t have to be Lewis Hamilton to enjoy yourself at Hyperkating with circuits suitable for all ages and experience levels. The Main Track is open to drivers over 140cm, while young speedsters aged 3-7 years can go for a spin on their purpose-built Mini Track with Nano Karts.

The Big Bounce, St. Ives Showground

Spend your spring school holidays at the world’s biggest (and most over-the-top) jumping castle! As part of its 2022 Comeback Tour, The Big Bounce’s 1500 square metre inflatable kingdom is coming to St. Ives Showground. Kids can run, roll, dip and dunk with the park featuring obstacle runs, ball pits, giant slides, climbing towers and basketball pits. 

The fun doesn’t stop there. Kids can also compete in the bouncy Sport Slam arena, adventure through 50 unique obstacles in The Giant maze and get lost in the out-of-this-world inflatable world called Air Space. Cinderella The Musical, Sydney Lyric Theatre

Room on the Broom, The Concourse 

Following sell-out seasons across Australia, CDP Kids‚Äô adaptation of the popular children‚Äôs book, Room on the Broom, is coming to the Concourse. This theatrical show follows the adventures of a witch and her cat on a dark and stormy night. A helpful dog, bird and frog find the witch‚Äôs lost things, and they all hop on the broom for a ride. The Box Show, Chatswood

Tag along for a day in the life of four musical misfits as they reinvigorate the junk that the world has forgotten. The contents of an abandoned kitchen and wheelie bins become the greatest drum set in the world; plastic bags are an amazing musical instrument, and the human body becomes a unique sound machine.

Calling all Knights and Princesses! A desperate message has been sent from the Castle and your help is needed. Who has been captured and how will we help them?

Media for Millennials Workshop 

Our kids live in a world of social media so why not teach them how to use it for good? In this Willoughby Council Social Media and Content Creation Workshop, kids aged 12-18 will learn how to use digital media as a business tool. 

The interactive and entrepreneurial workshop is perfect for anyone who enjoys creating content, photography, film, advertising and social media. They will experience a day in the life of a content creator and learn what makes an eye-catching campaign. Teens can work individually, in pairs or in small groups and will receive a professional brief from a client to advertise a product of their choosing.

KYDS Boost, Chatswood 

Are your kids up for a challenge? From the 5th to 7th of October, primary and high school students can participate in KYDS Boost, a school holiday activity challenge centred upon Westfield Chatswood. The event incorporates navigation, clues to solve, sports, craft, puzzles, community, and skill-building activities with prizes on offer. Students can participate on their own or with friends and can complete all the activities over the three days or just drop in for a few hours. 

Complimentary to the Quest, there will be an opportunity to meet KYDS youth counsellors and find out about their free and confidential youth counselling services. Sign up online, grab a map and let the games begin.

Family Kayak, Tunks Park

Get tangled up in sunshine and saltwater at the North Sydney Council’s spring school holidays Family Kayak event. The Bushland Team and award-winning kayak tour group, Sydney by Kayak are teaming up for this guided kayak around Willoughby Bay.¬†

Both parents and children 8 years+ are invited to join. Kayaks are provided and a Council Bushland Officer will interpret the foreshore environment while on the water. Be sure to book and start practising your balancing act.

St Ives Treetops Adventure + Playground

Families have a new experience to explore along the southern border of Ku-ring-gai National Park. St Ives is our newest Tree Ropes Course Park, hosting 95+ aerial obstacles and 10+ ziplines, all suspended between platforms to create a maze of activities in the treetops. Courses start at 1m for little climbers and jump up to 15 metres for bigger adventurers!

Sessions run for 2.5-hours to climb as many courses as you can during your session. You can choose to start on low easy courses or go straight up on a higher course. If you don’t feel like climbing up on a higher level, you are always welcome to complete a lower or same course again during your session. Your session includes harnessing, training and approx 2-hours of climbing.

When you’re done there’s a spectacular new playground to explore as well! Perfect for spring school holidays!
