At Adventure Camp, we are all about getting kids outdoors and our 3-day school holiday camps will be packed full of Adventure to get your kids outside and away from screens this Summer. 

If you believe the outdoors are important and are after something fun and action packed for your kids these school Holidays, Adventure Camp is just for you. We provide an active, fun outdoor experience in an environment that helps to fulfill your kid’s basic needs for freedom, experimentation, risk-taking, socialising and, of course, adventure. Kids have the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, test their abilities and best of all, have awesome fun exploring nature. 

We will be building, swimming, sailing at Northbridge & Greenwich  stand-up paddle-boarding at Balmoral and bringing you some brand-new challenges at a brand-new location Balmain.

Balmoral Watersports School Holiday Activities

“Have Fun – Be Safe – Learn New Skills – Make New Friends” these school holidays!

Our “Multi-activity” water-sports camp offers different activities throughout the day, including Sailing, Windsurfing, Stand up Paddleboarding, Kayaking and games on/off water, with a major emphasis on having fun, and gaining & improving water-sports skills!

Every day is a different day with changing weather conditions, new games and new challenges. We welcome kids with water-sports skills & abilities as well as total beginners. Our aim is to introduce kids to water sports, gain more confidence on the water, and learn sailing in a fun way. We also really encourage making new friends.

Kids can start from 7 yrs old to 15 years old, they must already be able to swim 25m confidently. We have 3 different age groups: 7 to 9yo; 10 to 12yo; and 13 to 15yo. We will also make sure they are put together with friends on the 1st day if required. Be prepared for a fabulous week of fun and learning. It’s exactly where your kids want to be, rain or shine!

Good to know: Children are to bring their own packed lunch. The program will continue in wet weather conditions. Please ensure you or your child are aware of the weather forecast for the day and have packed accordingly.

Cost: $189 for 1 day; $389 for 3 consecutive days (Monday to Wednesday); $559 for 5 days (Monday to Friday)

Onyx Gymnastics

Onyx Holiday Club is for 4.5 -10 year olds with or without previous gymnastics experience.

Learn to handstands, cartwheel & more! Fun filled days full of gymnastics and play in our current and brand new facility coming soon! With themes ranging from Tie-Dye, Slime to The Amazing Race, the kids will never be bored! We have limited spaces with only 7 to 1 coach ratio ensuring each gymnast has a positive and rewarding experience.

Big Music Crows Nest School Holiday Camps

Big Music’s holiday camps run 9am-3pm daily in each week of the holidays, with two options:


The perfect way for younger kids (age 5+) to start their musical journey, the URE program gives them a chance to try a range of contemporary instruments including guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and piano/keyboard.


Rock Shows are for kids who are ready to rock (age 9+ with at least one year’s musical experience). Working with inspiring professional musicians, kids join a real rock band and prepare for an awesome stage performance.

Hyperkarting, Entertainment Quarter

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines and get set for a day at Australia’s longest indoor go-karting track (410m to be exact). You don’t have to be Lewis Hamilton to enjoy yourself at Hyperkating with circuits suitable for all ages and experience levels. The Main Track is open to drivers over 140cm, while young speedsters aged 3-7 years can go for a spin on their purpose-built Mini Track with Nano Karts.

Come rain or shine, Hyperkarting’s all-weather track is always open for a good time. Buckle your seatbelts and prepare to race!

St Ives Treetops Adventure + Playground

Families have a new experience to explore along the southern border of Ku-ring-gai National Park. St Ives is our newest Tree Ropes Course Park, hosting 95+ aerial obstacles and 10+ ziplines, all suspended between platforms to create a maze of activities in the treetops. Courses start at 1m for little climbers and jump up to 15 metres for bigger adventurers!

Sessions run for 2.5-hours to climb as many courses as you can during your session. You can choose to start on low easy courses or go straight up on a higher course. If you don’t feel like climbing up on a higher level, you are always welcome to complete a lower or same course again during your session. Your session includes harnessing, training and approx 2-hours of climbing.

When you’re done there’s a spectacular new playground to explore as well! Perfect for spring school holidays!

Sharks Exhibition at the Australian Museum

Submerge yourself in Sydney’s newest hands-on family exhibition, Sharks. In this immersive 360 degree blockbuster experience, visitors go back in time to meet sharks’ ancient ancestors, come face-to-face with over 10 life-sized shark models, including an 8 m-long Whale Shark, and uncover their extraordinary adaptations with interactive displays and touchable specimens. Dive in – there’s plenty of jaw-some stuff for kids and families.

Darling Harbour Fireworks

Watch the Sydney sky above Darling Harbour come to life this summer school holidays at one of our city’s most glorious waterfront locations. This free firework display is the perfect way to end dinner or entertainment and make the most of these long and warm summer nights. There are lots of family-friendly dining options nearby at Cockle Bay Wharf, King Street Wharf and Barangaroo, plus fun activities like bowling and laser tag at Harbourside Shopping Centre.

The Wind in the Willows, Royal Botanic Gardens

The Wind in the Willows is Shakespeare Australia’s beloved outdoor theatre production with plenty of songs, laughs and surprises for the whole family to enjoy. Join Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter, Portly and, of course, Mr Toad as they bring Kenneth Grahame’s immortal story of life on the riverbank to the stage. Pack your picnic rugs, plus snacks and drinks to enjoy throughout the show.

Van Gogh Alive, Entertainment Quarter Moore Park 

Van Gogh Alive returns to Sydney this summer school holidays in a spectacular new location at the Entertainment Quarter’s Grand Pavilion. One of the most successful and loved events of the last two years, this is an immersive journey through Van Gogh’s life and revered artworks. The 2022 season of Van Gogh Alive is delivered on a grander scale, offering new rooms and experiences that will take visitors on a multi-sensory experience through Van Gogh’s world like never before.

Water Slide and Lazy River at the Aquatic Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

Slip and slide your way through summer at Sydney Olympic Park’s Aquatic Centre. Found in the heated indoor leisure area, the Water Slide is the perfect addition to this water wonderland. Make your way up to the top and take a moment to look out over the pools before bracing yourself as you slide down.

Alice in Wonderland

For one day only, the streets of Sydney will turn into a giant, escape room. Follow Alice down the rabbit hole and enter a virtual world of adventure, intrigue and impossible things at this immersive Alice in Wonderland team event. Solve clues which just get curiouser and curiouser, take on mad and mischievous challenges, and uncover a dark conspiracy at the heart of Wonderland. There are epic prizes to win, such as best fancy dress, top team name and best mini player (under 16’s prize).

The Inflatable, Wave Pool and Giant Slide at Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre

Summer is the best time of the year at Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre with the opening of their Giant Slide and Inflatable obstacle course. Whether you’re swimming laps or want to splash around with the kids, there’s plenty of room for everyone. Don’t miss the 40m wave pool, giant blow-up obstacle course, water slides and more.

The Wave Pool operates on School Holiday and Public Holidays from 10.15 am until 4.40 pm.
The Giant Slide operates on School Holiday and Public Holidays from 10.00 am until 5.00 pm.
The Inflatable operates every day during school holidays from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Paint & Sip Mocktails

Chill out with the Willoughby City Council these school holidays at this kid-friendly Paint & Sip Event. The little ones will make a simple and easy acrylic painting on a mini canvas titled ‘red blossoms at night’ and enjoy some yummy mocktails and snacks.
