The beloved Twilight Food Fair returns to North Sydney every Friday for a sun-filled evening picnic with delicious food and entertainment!
Since its beginnings as the noodle markets in 1990, Friday evenings from October to March have been a fun family affair at North Sydney’s Ted Mack Civic Park.
Regulars have enjoyed thousands of delicious meals under the shade of the jacaranda trees and have been treated to live music and other entertainment, making this event a popular and relaxed way to kick off the weekend.
The much-loved event had a tough run over the last few years between COVID restrictions and lockdowns, and the crazy weather.
Hopefully, sunny skies are ahead to create balmy Friday evenings, in which case there’ll be a range of international food stalls to choose from including:
The Kofte Lab: Turkish street food (GF, V).
Volkswurst: Traditional German sausages in a roll with sauerkraut and condiments, cooked and served from a VW Kombi food truck (V).
Bamboo Story: Chinese dumplings, buns, spring rolls (V). www.instagram.com/bamboo__story
Ola Lola: Traditional Spanish paella, Mexican nachos, empanadas (GF, V).
Authentic Turkish Gozleme: Turkish gozleme, chips on a stick and hot chips (V).
There’ll also be live music and family-friendly activities.
