Halloween at The Greens, North Sydney
“Treat or treat this Halloween with The Greens life size hedge maze! We are hosting a four-day long Halloween party at The Greens. We’ve got a life-size hedge maze with ghouls and goblins on Thursday and Friday, and fairies and pirates for the kids on Saturday and Sunday. Trick or treat with plenty of activities, sweet treats, spooky cocktails and fun prizes to be won. We also have Halloween movies playing on our MEGA SCREEN over the four days.”

Spooksville, Luna Park
Just for fun head to Luna Park with the kids this Halloween to experience Spooksville! A hub of frightfully fun activities the whole family can enjoy, there is free entry into Spooksville which will give you access to pick up a few treats… or tricks on the Spooksville trick-or-treat trail. Plus! If you’ve got a creative bone in your body, try carving your very own spooky pumpkin that you can take home with you. There’s even a spookiest dressed competition with awesome prizes up for grabs, but your costume won’t be complete without some BOO-tiful face-painting! The fright doesn’t stop there… add even more thrill to the day with an Unlimited Rides Pass and experience rides that’ll keep the scares coming all day long.

Yokai: A Japanese horror folklore maze full of illusions, misdirection and taunting spirits longing for new blood.
Outlaw: Set in the 1800s Australian Outback, a gang of dangerous outlaws hold an entire pub hostage whilst trying to outrun the sheriff
Ward 13: A hospital themed maze centred around Nurse Brenda, a crazed nurse on a murderous spree.
Mystery Manor: Home to the legendary Doctor Hoffmeister and his wife, the tale of the Mystery Manor is dark and twisted. Manic inventions, horrifying rumours about experiments gone awry and much speculation lurk in the Manor’s past. Can you brave it?
Séance: A murderous cult has taken over Luna Park’s Mirror Maze and is rumoured to be holding evil seances. A local girl has gone missing, delve into the maze and uncover the mystery.
The three masters of hell will transform the inhabitants of the park to unleash chaos on unsuspecting guests through their ritual ‘Satanic Possession’ This is an opening performance at the start of each night setting the scene for the horror to be uncovered throughout the night. You can also take your costume to the next level at the make up station: Parlour of the Perished.

Halloween Movies, The Orpheum Cremorne
Art deco icon The Orpheum always provides great ‘flash-back’ screenings, and around Halloween you can rely on showings of lots of your favourite scary movies. This year, you can see the extended version of Stanley Kubrik’s The Shining (good timing with the sequel Doctor Sleep comes out next month) on Oct 23. Then there’s the director’s cut of 90s classic Nightbreed on Oct 25, and spooky witch-flick The Craft is reserved for Halloween night itself. All tickets are just $15.

Bring in the kids for some pre trick or treat fun with face painting, Halloween craft and some magical fun. Plus, sweet treats for the kids. Kids can have their face painted and decorate a treat collection bucket.

Sydney Zombiewalk 2019, CBD
This Spooktacular annual event began in 2009 and has seen thousands of zombies “dragging their rotting limbs across Sydney’s streets” for the Sydney Zombie Walk, which raises money for Camp Quality. All ages are welcome and the worse you look the better. There will be food stalls with Zombie Treats, a make-up artist onsite to get you looking horrible, various zombie exhibits, competitions and prizes and you get to raise money for a great cause! The event begins in the square in front of St Mary’s Cathedral.

The Grounds Adult Halloween Event, Alexandria
“The kid’s have had their fun, now it’s time for the adults to raise some hell… Get ready to experience The Grounds as you’ve never seen it before with our first ever adults only Halloween party. Face your fears and enter the Garden after dark and find out what lurks between the greenery when no one else is around. Trick or treat for cocktails, snack on devilishly good food and dance until you die with a live DJ and entertainment. The Garden Bar will be open on the night for any cravings you have and will host a variety of offerings only available this night of the year. This event is for 18+ only. “
