Acting, Singing & Recording Workshops, Crows Nest

Would your child love to help to create an original song and record it in our professional studio? Or dip their toe into the world of acting?

Brightsparks Performing Arts School is excited to be running two brand new Holiday Workshops these school holidays; Acting and Sing & Record. The Acting Workshop will be a 3-Day Intensive for children aged 7-12 years, run by Professional Actor, Anthony Yangoyan. Students will learn the art of improvisation, creating characters and performing scenes. There will also be lots of fun drama games along the way!

Sing & Record is a 3-Day Workshop for children aged 10-15, where students will get the opportunity to record an original song or song of their choice in our professional studio with a sound engineer. This course will be run by Musical Theatre Performer and Vocal Coach Jessica Linsley, who will work with students to develop solo singing skills, vocal range and tone, expression and their own unique style as a singer.

School Holiday Bushland Adventures, Lane Cove

Survivor – The Bushwalk! Get out into the urban wilderness that runs along the Lane Cove River. Join together and practice outdoor survival skills. Kids will need a snack and a drink, hats and suitable clothing for the weather and bushwalking. This event is run by Willoughby Council.

Willoughby Leisure Centre School Holiday Program, Willoughby

Willoughby Leisure Centre’s school holiday program is back! The program is fully supervised and packed with fun activities including Skateboarding, Billy Cart Bonanza, Laser Warriors challenge and of course water fun. There’s also a range of activities aimed at engaging kids to bring out their creative side, like Build My Bear soft toy workshop and Bricks for Kids days.
Duration: Program runs daily between Monday 28th June and Friday 9th July, excluding weekends.
Age: Designed for kids aged 5 to 12 years.
Time: 9am-3pm. Drop-off available from 8am.

Swing, step and climb at Wild Ropes in Sydney’s iconic Taronga Zoo and wave a big hello to the koalas, emus and kangaroos at the Australian Walkabout. Winter in the Domain

The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney and Doman presents ‘’Winter in the Domain”, a festival experience showcasing music, culture and entertainment in the heart of Sydney From June 25 to July 18, The Domain will transform into a winterland featuring two unique spaces – Big Top and Winterpark. The Big Top will host a diverse range of live performances from some of the Australia’s best artists and include family-friendly concerts. From June 26, the area surrounding the Big Top will be transformed into a free Winterpark with activities for visitors of all ages and heated outdoor spots to enjoy. Everyone is welcome to the Winterpark where you can glide along the ice rink, jump on the family-friendly rides and taste a range of delicious food and drinks these winter holidays.
